Lemonade Day Northern Alberta
Lemonade Day is a free, fun, experiential learning program that teaches youth how to start, own and operate their own business. Join Community Futures East Parkland, in partnership with Lemonade Day Northern Alberta, to help today’s youth become the business leaders, social advocates, community volunteers and forward-thinking citizens of tomorrow.....one Lemonade Stand at a time.

Rotary Alberta Youth Entrepreneurship Camp (RAYEC)
RAYEC is a week-long August camp for youth ages 13- 15 interested in business and entrepreneurship. Rotary 5360 and partnering Community Futures offices, including East Parkland, goal of this camp is to educate youth about marketing, advertising, preparing a cash-flow statement and writing a business plan. Campers set up their own businesses and borrow real money from actual bankers. The last day is “Business Day” at the camp, when campers open and operate their businesses. The youth also participate in many fun recreational activities throughout their week at camp.

CFEP Marketing Challenge
The Community Futures East Parkland Marketing Challenge, runs for four weeks. Typcially in the month of November, and encourages participants to engage with their social media audiences consistently, building their brands, and enhancing their online presence. With over $9,700 in prize money awarded, the initiative provided both motivation and resources for small business owners looking to strengthen their digital marketing strategies.
