Community Futures East Parkland Announces Winners of the 2024 Marketing Challenge

Community Futures East Parkland is proud to announce the winners of the 2024 Marketing Challenge, a program designed to help local businesses develop stronger social media marketing habits. The challenge, which ran for four weeks, encouraged participants to engage with their audiences consistently, build their brands, and enhance their online presence. With over $9,700 in prize money awarded, the initiative provided both motivation and resources for small business owners looking to strengthen their digital marketing strategies.

“This year’s participants put in an incredible effort, and we’ve seen remarkable improvements in their engagement and brand visibility,” said Chris Yaremchuk, Economic Development Officer at Community Futures East Parkland. “Our goal was to help businesses gain confidence and consistency in their social media marketing, and we’re thrilled with the results.”

The Marketing Challenge also featured weekly prizes, recognizing businesses that excelled in consistency, creativity, and engagement. Participants received hands-on experience with structured social media posting schedules, real-time audience interaction, and strategic content creation.
